Am I an art thief?Yeah I get it from google, but that doesn't mean I claim it as my own. Technically, EVERY person who draws some sort of anime fanart is an art thief if you want to think of it that way. We don't all have permission from the actual artist of that certain series, so should we all stop drawing art or claim each person is an art thief? NO. That's why it's called FANart because we are FANS of that series or artist's style.
I get these images off of google and they don't tell me who drew them or else I would give credit to the amazing minds that created that piece of artwork. If you all wanted to pitch in and buy me an art class, I would gladly take it so I could learn what my style of drawing is and I wouldn't have to draw from pictures found on google anymore. But I highly doubt that any of you would pitch in (I know I wouldn't) so that's not going to happen.
Either people are going to have to get over the fact that I draw off of google and don't know who to give proper credit to, or I'm going to stop drawing (at least stop putting them up here for people to see).
So take your pick.
Anger
I got to know him at my first convention, Ushicon (RIP) 2004/5. I was walking through the dealers room hoping to finally get to meet a voice actor because I hadn't the whole convention so far! I was walking with some friends and literally crashed into somebody. I kinda started to freak out a bit and was like "OMG I'M SO SORRY!" before I realized it was a voice actor.... then I freaked out even more trying to find a piece of paper to have him autograph for me (there were stacks of paper beside me...). Ever since then we've met up at cons and I've been his "Glompgirl" and always draw him a new picture and give him a glomp!
Why do I think he's awesome?
Well, who doesn't for one thing? But really, he's one of the sweetest guys I know. He always takes time out for his fans and doesn't just leave one stranded. I was having a really bad nosebleed at one of the cons, and he freaked out in his Greg way and ran around until people brought tissues, ice, etc to make it better. I didn't even ask him to, he just took the time out to help. He also taught me how to rave, that was interesting! But basically, he's such a great guy and I am very fortunate to have been able to meet him and keep in touch for so long!
